There will be ample opportunity for photographs on your Alaskan fishing trip so make sure you have a good camera along that can withstand the elements.
When it comes to Kenai river fishing trout and sockeye salmon opens on June 11. Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden are prolific all year long. Anglers that are seeking world-class trophy rainbow trout should concentrate their efforts during the autumn months.

Better than 99 percent of the other fisherman on the Kenai. He knows his stuff and really tries to not only get you on the fish but teach you as well. Had lots of fun and got lots of good video too.

My son really wanted to fish on our trip to Alaska and not being a fisherman myself, I figured the best option was a guide. Not only did Jason accommodate our last minute scheduling, but he ensured we had a great time, caught the fish, and best of all, made memories that will last a lifetime. ps. Even this "non-fisherman" caught a few! Highly recommend Jason to anyone.

Got to Alaska on Sunday August 5. Found out Jason and his wife delivered their first Baby on Saturday. Congrats to the happy and blessed family. Jason's other guide Collin was nice enough to cover our trip. Literally from the time the first fly hit the Upper Kenai to the last 20 plus inch Rainbow was in the net nearly 5 hours later, we were on fish. Collins attention to detail, knowledge of the river and bugs as well as instruction for our novice anglers was outstanding. Oh and goes without saying. "THIS KID CAN FLAT FISH" If you are looking for a top Guide service look no further. You need to fish with these guys. Thanks so much for a very memorable day. Allan and Tina Simpson.
